From one lunch site on Wednesday, we had 340 lbs of compost, 120 lbs of
plastic/aluminum recycling, and only 60 lbs of trash, of which about
half came from trash cans that were already there but that we didn’t
cover up, so they filled up more with trash.
Let’s keep it up!

Kellen Moore of 1-800-GOT-JUNK in Knoxville recycles cardboard from DI props Wednesday at the Knoxville Convention Center (KCC). The University of Tennessee and Destination ImagiNation encourage DI teams participating in Challenges in the KCC to take advantage of this recycling opportunity.
